Are you an amazing communicator, enthusiastic, motivated and passionate about the role that performing arts can play to support young people and communities? Your previous experience, working with a wide range of community groups and/or the education sector will be an advantage in taking the programme to the next level.

Justice in Motion is looking for a freelance Community Engagement and Education Manager to lead our creative engagement and community outreach activities.

The programme is linked to our touring productions exploring social injustices. Our latest, CODE, is a work in progress, looking at issues around county lines and exploitation.

Opportunities for engagement include our mobile parkour park, creative residencies and workshops built as part of our touring work, including recent past productions ON EDGE (modern slavery) and MOVING TOGETHER (loneliness), a prospective youth panel and ambassador network.

We are offering a monthly fee of £1,200 for the equivalent of 2 days per week, for an initial contract period between August 2022 and March 2023, with the potential to extend beyond this.

We are keen to have a team representing our diverse community and welcome applications for this role from candidates from the global majority and other marginalised communities, or those with lived experience of social injustice.

Please download and read the Community Engagement and Education Manager pack, and when you are ready to apply send a CV and covering letter explaining why you think you will be great in this role. We are happy to accept other forms of application e.g. video or audio files. If you have particular access needs please let us know what format works best for you.

We also ask that you complete and return our Equal Opportunities form with your application. Download the form using the button below.

Applications should be sent to by 3 July 2022.

Interviews will be held during the week beginning 18 July 2022.
