The phone vibrates…a message…times, numbers, deals…and a warning. All in code. So young and so troubled. At home, in school, on the street. There’s no way out – is there?
CODE, Justice in Motion’s urban odyssey into County Lines and Knife Crime, is a spectacular blend of physical theatre, parkour and trials bike stunts with live rap and music. On an urban playground, skilled athletes and performers show what is happening to our young people exploited by organised drug crime gangs.
We are seeking 5 additional team members for our 2024 Tour across the UK and Netherlands this summer (June-September). We are looking for excellent performers and athletes with strong stage presence, who have an interest in social justice and community, to join the cast of CODE to cover existing roles, as well as a dedicated stage manager to complete the team.
Some of the roles may be covered by the same performer (e.g. Mother or JP, and Rapper), and additional roles may be available to double up in for the right candidate – e.g. stage manager, youth company director, chaperone, crew member. Please indicate what roles you want to audition for, and what additional skills you may have that could add to the team, and cover other roles. We work as a team, so however we can plug you in, we will give you an opportunity to work with us on as many gigs, even when not performing, in other roles that could play to your strengths as well.
