soloveUA DAY at BIPC: Panel Talk, Art, and Community Gathering

📅 Tuesday 17 June 2025, 4:00–8:00pm
📍 BIPC (Oxford Library)

As part of the RESISdANCE programme and Refugee Week 2025, Justice in Motion is proud to participate in soloveUA DAY, an afternoon of panels, art, and community connection hosted at the Business & IP Centre (BIPC) within Oxford Library.

Taking place on Tuesday 17th June from 4:00 to 8:00pm, the event will feature artists, speakers, and organisations coming together to reflect on the lived experiences of refugees and displaced communities, with a particular focus on those affected by the war in Ukraine.

Justice in Motion’s Artistic Director Anja Meinhardt will speak on the first panel of the day, sharing insights from our collaboration with Ukrainian women and the development of the RESISdANCE project. The discussion will explore the intersection of art, activism, and lived experience—and how performance and storytelling can create space for healing, advocacy, and solidarity.

In addition to the panels, attendees can enjoy art displays, informal networking, and meaningful conversations with creatives and change-makers. This is a space for dialogue, listening, and community-building—open to anyone interested in refugee issues, cultural exchange, or creative activism.
