Chris is a performer and movement director who for over 15 years has been working with some of the UK’s most groundbreaking dance and theatre companies. Graduating in dance, he has since focused his practice on Physical Theatre and story driven work.
He has performed in over 30 countries, to venues such as Sadler’s Wells, The Barbican, Sydney Opera House, and Théâtre De La Ville, has taught to hundreds of students of all experience, to professionals worldwide and in the UK, in both Dance and Physical Theatre.
Chris was a founding member of the Hofesh Shechter Company (NPO) and after six years of touring his work globally, became Associate Choreographer on Hofesh’s project based commissions including an Opera at the New York MET, and the Tony-nominated musical “Fiddler on the Roof”. He’s worked with Lost Dog Theatre on their award winning Show “It Needs Horses”, and is a core member of the multi-award winning company Gecko Theatre (NPO), a relationship spanning 8 years across four major creations.
As Movement Director he co-created “The Dreamer” an award winning co-production with Rich Rusk and the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre. More recently Chris has been UK Associate Movement Director for Harry Potter and Cursed Child on the West End.
Chris has been vital as Associate Director in the creation of Justice in Motion’s show ON EDGE and now in the development of CODE.
