Kim (She/They) works primarily as a performer across dance, circus, and theatre. Kim loves working on projects which place strong emphasis on storyline, characterization and music. She values highly engaging creative processes that involve a demanding level of athleticism and performance presence. Kim works throughout the UK performing, participating in R&D processes, teaching pro classes and delivering community programmes.
Originally from Aberdeen, Kim completed her professional training at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona where she performed works by Humanhood (Julia Robert and Rudi Cole), Jamal Callender and Julia Ehrstrand. Upon graduating, Kim joined James Wilton Dance as an apprentice dancer, became adept in the company’s specialised movement vocabulary and participated in R&D processes for new works. Kim continued her apprenticeship with dance-circus company Motionhouse, performing in Wondrous Stories and HENGE (2022) before completing her Masters in Contemporary Dance Performance from Northern School of Contemporary Dance.
