With over 10 years experience in charity management, Matt has always had a strong third sector and social impact focus. Currently the Director of Operations and Enterprise for The Oxford Trust, an organisation set up to encourage the pursuit of science and enterprise, Matt is most at home working in the background to ensure smooth and efficient operations that maximise impact.
Matt spent a portion of his early career as a sound engineer and production manager. Alongside studying for a Biochemistry degree, he was elected to chair the Backstage Technical Services society at the University of Bath.
Following various Management positions at various Charities, Matt took an MBA. Since, he has worked as Project Director of a large capital project (Stansfeld Park, Oxford) for The Oxford Trust. After the project’s successful delivery, Matt was given his current role of managing the whole charity’s operations and enterprise support functions, which he continues to the present.
In his spare time Matt enjoys keeping up a few sound engineering gigs, as well as attending live music concerts as a punter and spending time outdoors – mostly hill walking with his wife.
