Phoebe comes from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Having trained in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, she has since transitioned in to the world of circus. Specialising in Chinese Pole, she teaches on the Take Flight programme with Scarabeus Aerial Theatre, along with working as a tutor on their Flying in to Physics Programme.
Having worked in many outdoor settings, from traditional big top circus, to festival build teams and crews such as Greenpeace @ Glastonbury, and construction and duty manager experience in climbing walls, she’s practical both on and off stage. She has a keen interest in climbing, and when she finds a moment of stillness, enjoys permaculture and all that nature has to teach us.
Currently her current creative practice focuses on dance and circus, aiming to educate and facilitate the importance of play, embodiment and connection, for mental and physical health, well being, and social change.
